About the Job
WE'RE HIRING! FLOORING & DESIGN CONSULTANT
Love decorating, colors, home design, and working with people? We want to meet you!
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and creative person to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people make their homes look beautiful. You don't have to be a professional interior designer, but having an eye for design, enjoying home improvement, and being comfortable working with customers are all big pluses!
What does the job involve?
You'll work directly with customers to help them plan and bring their home improvement projects to life. No two projects are exactly alike, so there's always something different to work on!
Some of the things you'll help customers with include:
- Helping customers choose flooring, carpet, tile, and other materials.
- Working with customers on full bathroom remodels, helping them select everything from flooring and tile to colors and finishes.
- Helping customers choose paint colors and coordinating colors throughout their homes.
- Putting together paint selections and helping bid/estimate painting projects.
- Helping customers coordinate flooring, wall colors, bathroom finishes, and other design details so everything looks great together.
- Preparing estimates and proposals for customer projects.
- Working with customers from the initial ideas and selections all the way through their finished project.
Basically, you'll get to do a little bit of everything that goes into helping someone make their house feel like home!
What's In It For You?
We believe good people deserve good pay and a great place to work!
- UNCAPPED EARNING POTENTIAL! The sky is the limit when it comes to what you can earn.
- Base pay PLUS commission. Your base pay will be determined by your experience, with additional earning potential through sales.
- Great working hours.
- Health insurance benefits.
- 401(k) retirement benefits.
- A fun, rewarding position where you get to work with people and be creative.
- The opportunity to grow with an established business.
If you're motivated, enjoy working with people, and like the idea of having your income reflect your hard work, this could be a great fit!
What We're Looking For
- Someone who enjoys decorating, home design, colors, and helping people.
- A friendly personality and good customer service skills.
- Someone who is organized, dependable, and motivated.
- Comfortable talking with customers, discussing projects, and helping put together estimates.
- Sales experience is a plus.
- Flooring, painting, remodeling, or interior design experience is a plus, but we can train the right person!
